[0161] Etna: "Well, I mostly find it to be a general lack of supply for the demand. I bearly ever see more then 20 items in the pawn, mayby like 2 or 3 times a week, and this is (possably) going to make the quality of avalable equipment heavily decline. Mainly because it already takes a decent amount of money and effort just to make a great level weapon (as the failure rates have recently seemed to make it about a 50% chance to build one up from nothing). And now, if you have to wait 4 hours to get the base components (assuming it's an hour pause to buy things, like a bazzar) just to have a chance of making one thing in hopes that the components you need will even be there in an hour will make avalability horrable. There will be a lot more of "well, all I can make with what I have is a longbow" and no one wants bows these days. :P Don't get me wrong, I can see the logic behind the move as well. It's a hard problem to tackle. This is one sort of a solution, another would be to have a more stedy influx of items to get purchased. But that would, potentialy, flood the game with stuff. Although I think most players would prefer a game with lots of equipment over one reletivly devoid of it. I guess I want to say that it does make the oppertunity to get stuff equil, but at the same time, it equilizes it at a level that is frustratingly slow. Meh...it's a hard problem to tackle, again. But I managed to express my opinion, if not much of a soulution. *^_^*" 2004-11-21(Sun)14:13:54
